Gabe Close at Third Man Records in the Voice-O-Graph Booth

In March, I had the opportunity to stop by Third Man Records in Nashville, TN and record in Jack White’s Voice-O-Graph recording booth. The recording booth was made in the 1940s and has been getting a lot of press lately because Neil Young recorded his latest album A Letter Home in the booth. The booth only

allows for a song that is around 2 min. and prints the vinyl in a

matter of minutes. The band and I are working on new material in the studio right now for our third album; we’ll see if this tune makes it on to the new record. If you get a chance to stop by the Third Man Record booth, it is quite an experience and only $15.00.
